From Colombia to Split: Welcome Jaider Morelos!
Baseball club Nada SM Split is proud to announce the signing of a new player ā Jaider Morelos, a talented infielder from Colombia, joins our team for the 2026 season!
Colombian champion with international experience
Morelos brings an impressive resume. As a member of Caimanes de Barranquilla, he won the Colombian Winter League championship, proving himself at the highest level of professional baseball in his home country.
On the international stage, Jaider represented Colombia at the U23 level and at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, where his national team won the gold medal. He also competed in the prestigious Series de las Americas.
Outstanding college career
In the NCAA/NAIA system, Morelos excelled at Montreat College where he posted outstanding numbers in the 2025 season:
