Baseball club Nada SM Split is thrilled to announce the signing of a new pitcher — Scott Bellina, a right-handed arm with global experience, joins our team for the 2026 season!
A career spanning the globe
Bellina's resume reads like a world baseball atlas. His journey began at the NCAA Division I level at the University of Hawai'i, and since then he has played professionally across four continents:
- Japan — professional experience in the Hokkaido Frontier League
- Australia — competed in the Australian professional league
- Germany — sub-3.00 ERA in the Bundesliga
- France — led the league with a 2.03 ERA for Rouen Huskies in 2025
- Brazil — additional international experience
Dominant on the mound
Bellina is a pitcher who commands attention the moment he steps on the mound. His fastball touches the mid-90s, and combined with excellent command and elite strikeout ability, he is one of the most dangerous pitchers in European baseball.
His 2025 season in France was particularly impressive — as a member of the Rouen Huskies he led the entire league with an ERA of just 2.03, proving he is at the peak of his career.
